Actually I do not. It's an unnecessary expense. The problem can easily be solved with a $0.07 "10k ohm resistor" installed inside the charger handle.

But, you might not even need the trick.

A little update on my upgrades. I decided to mount the batteries in the bag well. I found a bag well enclosure on CL for a RXV. It took some modifying but fit with a little effort. I ordered 2g wire kit, HD solenoid, resistor and diode from Scotty B. I知 going to mount the controller on the stock heat sink. Should I mount the solenoid on the controller? Also will the stock controller cover fit with the alltrax controller and solenoid?

Yes, you can mount the solenoid on the controller and no the cover wont fit but you don't need it. That's a sweet looking bagwell setup!

when you get the solenoid from scotty....it comes with the mount....and yes it will mount on the controller. there is no need to put the stock cover on the controller....first it won't fit.

heres a pic of mine....and how you are installing yours as well.

I completed the 48v conversion. Everything seems to be working fine. I知 reading over 50v on my meter. I don稚 see any difference in speed so I知 wondering if the controller needs to be programmed (any suggestions there?) I am having an issue with the charger ( it痴 a delta-q quiq model # 913-4810-E3B) I switched out the RXV handle with my Dstyle and I知 getting the fault indicator light.
