Default washing my EZGO RXV in a lake

Hi everyone,
not sure if my post yesterday went through but I'm knew to this forum and do have a few questions to ask but first I thought I'd introduce myself .......I;m a retired firefighter and enjoy many activities but at present I'm working on trying to get my golf cart back up to par after having it slide into our lakes boat ramp.....Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all
George

Welcome George! Definitely want to left your cart dry out as much as possible before doing anything with it. The RXV is sensor laden and there are a number of places faults can occur due to water. My suggestion would be not to touch it for a week and then start trouble shooting it. However, the motor is possibly filled with water as is the drive shaft. Draining both would be good to get the water out. Removing the controller and opening it and putting a fan in front of it to dry out couldn’t hurt. Word to the wise though, take pictures of everything you open or remove so that you can put them back exactly like they were.
