2014 TXT Lift Questions

Hello all, I recently purchased a 2014 48 volt TXT. I am looking to lift it. I can’t really find lift kits that say they are 2014. Does anyone know if any of the other ones will work? Also, should I go drop axle or use blocks? What are the advantages? I was thinking drop axle at first but the blocks are a lot cheaper and I didn’t know if that would be enough lift. I would also like to put bigger tires on. Last question where do you guys normally order golf cart parts from?

We usually try to order parts from the forum sponsors when they have them available. See the button that will display the sponsors first.

The block lifts are really only suitable for the models that they are offered. Usually Marathons. You have a 2014 TXT. This kit appears to indicate it is for a 2014. It says 2001 to present. That sounds like 2001 thru 2018 to me.

I got a lift kit/tire combo from:

They are a sponsor. I bought the combo from them off their EBay store. I was happy with the results and price. Like much of the aftermarket items it might require a little fiddling here and there but it was pretty much a bolt on deal. No affiliation, just happy with what I got.

call Jakes, they will sell and send you the correct kit for your 2014. I just lifted a 14 txt.

I also did a steeling drop axle lift kit on a 2012 also. The spindle left alot easier to install.
