Nominal voltage of module is not 14.4V It's 7.2V. (Two Lithium cells ov 3.6V each nominal)

Ok, I was using Bob's numbers on his post http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lithi...ml#post1574317 as these being "new" or "newer" Leaf modules....albeit 16.8V\module.

These being connected in series and parallel, then the total pack voltage would be 36V. (Using 7.2V per module)

I guess I am somewhat perplexed that this https://www.ebay.com/itm/48volts-6kw...:pf:0#viTabs_0 set up is being marketed as a 48-V system.

In that post, I was referring to the 2018 Nissan Leaf modules that I have. They are double the width, with essentially 2 modules sandwiched into one module housing that is twice the width. The 8 cells add up to 16.8V maximum (4.2V per cell) @ 116.6 A/H (58.3 A/H per cell) per module. There are 3 types of Nissan Leaf modules. The single wide 2S2P modules used in the early Leaf years. The double wide 4S2P modules used in newer Leaf years. And the latest double wide 2018+ 4S2P Leaf modules. Nissan had to redesign the double wide modules because it was found by service records that the double wide modules suffered from a limited lifespan based on cell age instead of usage patterns. The 2018+ design corrected the issue.

Send the seller a message and tell him what ya'll concluded. See what he says. He's got a 100% rating. Maybe he made a mistake.

that seller has that same pic posted for the 36v and the 48v packs. but they do say in the 36v it is 10 cells and the in the 48v it is 12 cells. so they should have done better with pics but are correct in the reading

Yeah......the pic of only 10 modules and the statement that it was a 48V setup got me confused.

My "48V" setup consist of 7 modules. So, I know to double my AH, I need 7 more modules.

Or 4 of the newest (2018+) modules. 16S from 4 modules, 67.2V @ 116.6 A/H. Not quite double the A/H, but really close...
