cart starts for a few secs then quits bellowing blue smoke!

this cart iv been talking and asking for random help with every now and then is in arizona and have had info relayed to me cause im in california


now i leave for arizona september 3 and i got a call today telling me that when u go to start it it starts for about 3-5 seconds then quits and pours out thick blue smoke, and it goes through oil quickly.its a 96 gas cc ds. new batterie. lives outdoors. weather ranges from 20 degrees and a little colder to in the summer 120 wih monsoons. so could that be fould it up to.

i think somethings broke in there and some gasket maybe the head gasket is blown.? would these proples cause it to have this kinda of reaction?

and im assuming i will need to tear down the motor, so was wondering it anyones knows roughly wat tools r needed and wat size sockets and metric or standerd?

already have looked for all the parts and wat not?

any help would be so great

had it since march 14 ran great but keept dying out adjusted the carb all was better. then i left and i guess they ran the hell out of it. any help would be greatly appreaciated.

when i said something broke i think the said the pistion rings or something i can do all work and electical work my self so just need some guidence befor i leave please thanks

i go to a boarding school in sedona az. im a senor and the school bought this cart for a staff member who has some trouble walking due to being runn over by a bull. i had it running just fine when i left and i guess they didnt maintain it well enough for 4 months . so now i just was wondering if some one could kinda point me in a direction on wat to do, befor i tear down the motor.

Blue smoke means oil burning. Ask them if it was overfilled with oil? That's what you should hope for, as that's the easiest fix...

ok and befor like months ago it would run just fine. then it lost about half its sped, and that turned into it not runing. u could hear the starter turning over but not catching. then it wouldnt run at all. that was al in a 12 hour period flat grounfd and up and down hill.

now the say they can only get it to start for 3-5 seconds.

and i wont have access to this form while im working on it. like 95 percent chance i wont so thats y im asking for help now

Are there computers in the library, i dont think there is a school without Internet access these days.

Take new oil, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter with you and install then perform a valve adjustment..That would probably get it where it needs to go.
