![]() Hello,
I've looked around a bit and can't seem to find the information that I need. Does anyone know what the correct type and amount of rear axle fluid needed for my 1995 G5 is? Thank you, Scott |

![]() Should be listed in the service manual, and might even be listed in the owner's manual. Did you try googling for those? I always recommend to have the service manual if you are doing your own mechanical work, lots of good info in there.

![]() I believe the G5 is the same as the G1. It's a 2 stroke engine, yes?
Here's a thread with a pdf version attached https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=129227 |

![]() Your thinking of G3. G5 is more like G2. I'd say regular old 80w90 gear oil.

![]() Odd how G2 is "newer style 4-stroke", and G3 is older style 2-stroke. But "sun classic" models are the "oddballs" in many more ways than just that.

![]() G1, G2, G9 were some of the best golf carts ever made IMO. Very simple and durable. I suppose if the G3 and G5 are hybrids, they should be good too lol.
