Hot Rod my clutch weight broke too on my G14 which looks basically like yours . Only thing mine broke on I will call the rod side not on the weight like yours. It cracked my cover . I ordered a kit from Golf Cart King which had all three weights with the plastic washers. My washers were about all gone . One of my plastic slides was wore out too so had to order those from another source. Only thing I didn't order was the pins. Mine turned out not too bad. Had to use a little heat on some of the set screws cause they had loctite. I basically have a new primary now . Works great.
If I was you I would order a weight kit with all three and they come with the plastic washers. Mac suggested that to me and glad I did it .

You could just send your clutch to Plowman's he will completely rebuild it and send it back out the day he gets it. Don does a lot of things to it that you want be able to do and its not that expensive. Give him a call just to check.

Mike Mac, I already have a drive clutch repair kit I bought from a local golf cart shop. I paid $127.00 for the whole kit. I just need help with the removal of the old assembly and installing the new.

HotRod, put an allen wrench in each set screw, and apply heat to the screw area with a propane torch till the set screw loosens. They are glued in with lock tight. Then go about changing each weight in the same manner. Use blue lock tight on each screw as you reassemble!

There are a few threads on this first page, talking about clutch problems. Check them out!

When you comin to G8??
