Default Re: Lights, Stereo, and Maybe a 12V battery? - Advice for a newbie?

Ok, i have a 2003 DS 48v. 6 8v batteries. it has factory headlight kit, and horn. i want to add a bluetooth stereo and lights underneath. there are 2 buss bars, one has nothing in it and the other has 4 fuses and shows 16V.i assume it pulling from 2 batteries, is this normal for factory stuff and and can stereos and lights run on 16v.

See post 2. It can be done but it’s not good for the pack.

I use my cart for hunting, staying anywhere from 2 1/2 days to a week out in the boonies where we don't have power, I chose to install a 12volt automotive battery in the compartment in the back, I'm running led headlights and a 12 inch lightbar, I just wanted to maximize my range by not using my battery pack at all. I just hook up a trickle charger to the 12v battery at the same time I'm charging the 48volt pack.
