Admiral D-2 VS FSIP B-3
Hey all, I have a blown motor and am in the market for a new one. Just wanted to see what anybody's thought was of the 2 I listed. Maybe there is another one someone might recommend. Scottyb recommended these 2 and as helped me a "LOT" in diagnosing my blown motor.
I just installed a Alltrax XCT 400 controller with a HD solenoid and 2awg cables. Its a 2003 PDS 36v I lifted with 22 tires. Its pretty much flat paved road where I am and a little off road when we take it camping. I'm itchy to get it back on the road... Thanx |

I have the FSIP Torque motor in my 09 TXT PDS and it does both. It will run 23 MPH and pull the bridges no problem too.

Keep-um coming, this was the feedback I was looking for. I was worried about going over the bridges to the beach but I shouldn't according to DW.
If I end up going 31 mph like jhop I'll definitely need the user mode (Dad/ kid) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a D2 and it works well. 27mph. Mostly flat road usage. Neighbor just installed B3 and he said he can hit 31mph. Same size tires. 48V with Alltrax 500

Love the mode lock idea. Leaning towards the B3 but just curious what the optional cable kit does, do I need it? Also is there software I will need to download for the controller with the B3? My cart is 36v. Thanks for all your responses[emoji106]

Re: Admiral D-2 VS FSIP B-3
Both of the motors you are looking at are for 48v carts.
There is a B3 motor for 36v. But I have not personally tested it. According to the manufacture it will not make as much speed or torque as the 48v version. If speed is a priority you need to increase voltage. Admiral B2 is the best fit for this cart. Speed will be about the same you saw with the Alltrax upgrade but torque will be more than double. I hope this helps |

I thought the FSIP B3 was for 36v. What B3 motor for 36v are you referring to. Do you sell it on your website?
