Golf and Country by Western losing power
Hello,
I recently purchased a 42v Golf and Country by Western as a project cart. Overall it is in decent shape however, I am running into issues with it losing power while going up hill and the battery cables overheat after very limited use. I've read other threads on this forum and tried all of the basic stuff: -Replaced all of the battery cables with Copper connections and 2 gague wire -Cleaned all of the battery terminals -Tested all of the batteries with a voltmeter (They all read 6.24v) -Checked all of the connections It's also giving a weird, almost grinding sound from underneath the seat while driving. Does anybody have any suggestions of other things that could be wrong? Could it maybe the speed controller or solenoid? Any help would be appreciated, thank you! |

IF you can jack one wheel off the deck, remove the seat and operate the gas by hand and see if can locate the noise.
