What is this?
Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what this box is attached to the left frame rail? It is wired to the controller, but the only wires coming out the other side are to the lights. I just bought a new headlight kit and I need to know if I can eliminate this box to clean things up a little.

It's a voltage reducer to give you 12v to run your lights etc. You can connect your new lights to it just like the existing lights are wired.

That is a 16v->12v reducer that is unbalancing your pack.
You should consider removing it and installing a 48v->12v reducer. |

That's what I thought it was. I have a 48-12V reducer that I bought a while ago from Scotty B. I'll put that in its place. Thanks.
