(HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
I have a 2005 TXT fleet series cart. I have six new Trojan batteries. I have power and it will not move when I put it in reverse or forward. I am a rookie, but I do know all the batteries are charged. This happened once in the past and I had to move (FNR switch) it from forward to reverse in the past when this happened. Now it will not move (horn does sound when I put it in reverse) My gut feeling is the FNR is out or shorting, any suggestions.

There is a lot of stuff to check. Cables clean and tight? microswitches working? Tested? Solenoid clicking? Tested?
Are you getting a solenoid click when you push the peddle? |

Re: (HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
The batteries are about 4-5 months old. It ran before and after I changed the batteries and cables. Once I had a small problem, it wouldn't move and I moved the FNR back and forth a couple times and it was good to go. That was a few months ago.

Re: (HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
If the solenoid is clicking in both F&R then the micro switches are good so might be a F&R failure .... You can remove it Inspect it for burned and/or pitted contacts....

Re: (HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
If it was moving then just stoped I guess the F/R switch has got some problems as in burnt contacts melted into the board and not making contact. When you changed all the cables did you tighten up the nuts that hold the contacts in place? The will over time heat up and work loose.

Re: (HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
If I was to replace the FNR switch, what would anyone recommend? I will eventually upgrade the controller. Where and what does anyone recommend replacing the stock FNR with? Thanks for the help everyone.

Call any one of the site sponsors from this list and ask them about a heavy duty F&R for your cart....

Re: (HELP)TXT fleet series will not move
I ordered my heavy duty F&R switch from Everything carts and it works great and they were good to deal with.
