Default No Reverse after wire upgrade

I just upgrade all the cables on my 93 E-Z-GO to 4 guage, but for some reason the reverse does not work now. Forward works fine. I remove and replaced one cable at a time, so I know it is wired properly. Im guessing since I made the cables my self is that I did not crimp one of them very well.

Does anyone know which cables I should look at for reverse?

Would WD40 prevent a connection? I sprayed some WD40 on one of the 4 motor connection because the nut would not come loose.

WD-40 would have no effect on electrical connections.
Get a meter out and make your way through the connections on the FNR switch.

Did you use 2 wrenches when you took off the motor connections. I ask because if you dont hold the botton nut still with one wrench while you turn the top one you can spin the stud and shear the cable connection inside the motor.

P.S.

WD40 is Highly Flammable and should not be used around any electrical connections..

Gotta throw down the bs flag here.

When you spray almost any aerosol it is flammable, even household flour will ignite if the powder/air ratio is right.

WD-40 is regularly used to degrease parts and also to displace moisture in automobile ignition/electrical systems including alternators, generators and starters. Although it's not a very good lubricant, it is quite safe to use on electrical devices.

Because it's petroleum based it will cause keyboards to melt and stick.

I may have spun the stud on one of the motor connections. Is there a way to check this without removing the whole motor? Can it be fixed?
