Cool how do i find the specs on my cart? pds? my carts slow up hills!!!

hey! i recently baught a 2000 ezgo txt! i was wondering about a few things and didnt know how to find all the specs on my perticular cart! it didnt come with an owners manual from the guy i got it from! im mainly trying to find out if it has PDS becuase the cart struggles up the hills at my course and i was looking into ways to help that problem! any ideas? as far as i know the cart is completley stock! cart has great speed on level terrain! its really only hills that are the issue! i figured if i could find out if it were pds i could get a chip and maybe be good to go! how do i know if its pds or not for sure! its a 2000 with the F/R on the seat not the dash but i hear some 2000 pds' had the f/r located there! help!

thanks
Daniel!

Is there a toggle switch on the controller cover under the passenger seat?

Yes, it sounds like you have a series cart. Is there a long metal rod leading to a large switch assembly?

First step is to upgrade all the 6g cables to 4g welding cable. This will improve your efficiency. After that, a nice 400 amp Alltrax controller should give your torque back.

other than the 400 amp controller, there no other cheaper fix for the hills?

Yes, ALL of them. Across the batteries, into the F/R switch, solenoid, controller, and back to the motor.

Controller swap on a series cart is quite easy. We can walk you through it.
