If you are up to making your own cables, try weldingsupply.com . If not, our site sponsors sell complete 4g kits for a series cart like yours. Check with them on the controller too.

how many feet of welding cable do you think i will need to recable the cart? will 50 be enough? and is there a difference between red cable and black welding cable? or are they just color cordinated for our own uses

35 feet will do a series cart with leftover cable. Red or Black, the electrons don't care. Black is cheaper. Red looks nicer.

Well, 400 amps is 400 amps, but the Alltrax has a very, very good reputation.

What size lugs would we need? All the same size?

The lugs are sized by the wire and the bolt hole so If you are making 4g cables you need a 4g x 5/16ths lug ...... all batteries are 5/16ths. Some CC F&R connections are 1/4 inch....

Caution controllers are throttle input specific. This varies between manufactures. Some Controllers are programmable with the correct software and cables...Hope this helps.
