Default My EZGO won't go

I have a 2005 EZGO PDS with a lift kit, 22in tires, stock controller and motor with a speed chip, and 2ga wires. I was at the campground this weekend and my cart had a really hard time getting started. Once it got going it ran fine until I stop. So is my controller bad or could it be something else? If it is the controller, what controller would work best for me. I mainly use my cart around the subdivision and campgrounds. I would like alittle more torque, but want to have as much runtime on a single charge as possible. So something just alittle better than stock. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a controller, could be something else, go with a 400 amp Alltrax, you will like the setup.

I replied to your other post but it's gone?
I have a 05 pds, lifted, 22" tires, alltrax 400a, 4ga upgraded solenoid... I have been pleased with the set up and it has much more torque than stock. it goes faster than I need it to.

Have you checked the specific gravity of your batteries? The could be on their 6th season.

Put the cart in diagnostic mode and drive it around and listen for any codes.
Most of the time on a lifted PDS with large tires the controller will go into thermal shutdown when it heats up enough. Time also to double/triple check all cables/connections as well as battery voltages and specific gravities.
