I would get one of them to supervise, but you won't learn until you do one yourself.

Ok? You need the help of one of your mechanically inclined cousins. Have them go with you when you buy a cart and make them aware of what you intend to do and that they will be helping you. The kit you selected, if those are the only parts needed, looks to be a good beginners project but you need to know what cart they will be installed on as all carts don't use the same kit.

To be 100% certain call your order in to where you are buying and be very specific-model, year, gas or electric and discuss the different options available. Make certain you are getting exactly what you want.

I would highly suggest some type of supervision from a parent, pier or someone,
Everyone new to carts think golf carts are toys to be used by all but they can and have killed!
