Don't do it that way. Once you plug the charger in you MUST let it complete it's charge cycle. The way your are doing it will greatly reduce the life of your batteries.

How much do you drive mile wise per day? Also, is this a 48v or 36v cart? And last, do you have a handheld digital meter?

It's a 48v I would say around 6 to 7 miles. I have a camp site in a park with 500 sites. The place has a lot of hills. Me and the wife have fun riding at night. I have no handheld meter.

Each time I pull in to my site I plug it in. Sometimes It's on a long time sometimes a short time. I allways plug it in over night. And keep it plug in all the time when I go home for the week. All so I put it in tow when I go home. Will the charger shut off or will not turn on If Its does not need a charge.

Thanks guys I will plug it in less. I plug it when I know I will charge over and hour. I work It hard sometimes. Like riding with 3 other persons on it. Is pluging It in when I go home for a week Is that cool. It's fun driving with my wife and son. I don't want to mess up and cost more money.

That is fine and the charger will turn off automatically and turn back on again automatically if needed.
