Does anyone KNOW the ratio of the Governor Arm on the Transaxle ??
Accelerator Cable to Governor Cable ??
Assume it is NOT 1 :1 is this simple change increases the Speed. or increases the RPMs therefor speed.

Your overthinking again!
I'll guess it's 1:1... until the ground speed governor in the transaxle takes over!

In Mongooses case... the carb won't have any restriction to the governor spring, so it'll be full throttle without hesitation!
IMO... 24mph sounds a bit high with the limiter still intact!

The ground speed governor in the transaxle protects the cart, and passengers from over speed!
The rev limiter protects the engine from over-revving!

Astonishing to imagine that this would have been done at a repair facility that has -anything- to do with CC. Had to have been an independent.

what damage does it do to the cart in regards to doing mod 1 (Bypass the Ground Speed Governor in the Transaxle) ?? or does it mean the governor/ limiter is no longer in place to keep it at a set speed per say.

also assume in doing this since it bypasses the Rev limiter, one would need a tach to make sure you keep it under control. Engine Revs that is !!

any perk to doing this vs the zip tie ??
