You mentioned cleaning the carb. When you remove the small bolt that holds the bowl, make sure that the hole in that bolt is cleaned. That bolt is a jet as well. There are times that the hole is clogged.

Thanks worqhors my question is the postion of the choke when fully open cause mine is a little past vertical when completely open.

You should be able to adjust the choke position with the cable itself on top of the carb or the cable adjuster by moving it in or out in the choke off position.

dumb question, but how old is the gas. i had one that the gas wasnt that old, (so i thought) i put new gas in and ran 10 times better. The older gas made it harder to start also.

It had a gallon or so in it when i bought it a few months ago so i top it off and added gas treatment also to it, thought i had the problem solved and then this morning it started ran about 50 feet flooded out and wouldn't start so i'm lost again---Help
