Which G1 Lift Kit to install? 4" or 6"?
Hey All,
I've been going back and forth wondering which lift kit (4" Block Lift or 6" Jakes # 6250) to install on my 1979 G1 Cart. The 4" block lift is much more affordable to install (No later model spindles, hubs, king pins, etc), but I'm guessing you get more travel with the Jakes 6" lift (and more expense). Figured I'd ask those who've installed these kits for their feedback to help me make my decision. As always, thanks for our help! Ed |

It depends on the size tire you want to run also.4" will give you a 20" tire.6" will allow 22"'s.

I'd go 6". It's not that high up if you are worried about that at all. Go bigger just in case you want the 22's.
