G9 Total Overhaul!
I am doing a complete overhaul in 8 days on my 91 G9. The original motor had seized and I have a problem with going big and spending money. My Mom is out of town on a cruise and she will be back on the 15th. She has a nice heated garage and Lives in town, so I am going to utilize. Hopefully my parts get here in time. I am going to post as many pics as pos.

Re: G9 Total Overhaul!
So I got the old motor out, cleaned and rhino linered the frame. Got the plastic body off, cleaned and sprayed all the existing frame work. The 23 Hp B&S motor from CCP arrived. Got it installed and fired up (WOW was that easy!) I am painting the body with Truck bed liner. I also am doing a lot of aluminum tread plat work on sides, rear, and dash with full set of gauges including Tach and fuel. Also building a custom front and maybe rear bumper,( Got the pipe bender from HF) A winch and recovering the seats. I am probably forgetting some things so here are some more pics.

Re: G9 Total Overhaul!
Good for you I might suggest you take off the unneeded G9 parts (wire harness /TCI/fuel pump ect) and post them up in the for sale section. I can help recoupe some of your costs. Keep the build pictures coming! PS, it's amazing how fast you can install Tom's CPP's complete kit, isn't it!

Looking good.
Just one question...how was the landing after the jump you took a picture of in your avatar? |

Re: G9 Total Overhaul!
I only broke one motor mount on that jump. It actually wasn't as crazy of a jump as it looks in the picture. On another note I got some more stuff done on the cart today. I got the front body section put back on and started fabricating the dash plate. I also took it for a spin around the block a few times. It was awesome!
I'm going to get some pics now, then I'll be back to post! |

Here are a few shots of the cart with 1 of the 2 coats of bed liner and the beginning of the dash fab and the battery box installed.
