Default 2009 Ymamha Drive G29 shifting and sluggish

I have a 2009 Drive with 2 issues.
1) when shifting from reverse to forward, sometimes it does not go in to forward and other time it stays in reverse fer about 2 seconds then you hear a smal gear grind and it kicks in to forward...

2) I put on a 6 inch Jakes lift and tire/wheel combo. Cart is now really weak going up hills or like pulling into a driveway. Is this a governor adjustment?

Thanks for the help in advance. Both of these seem to be things I may be able to handle without having to take it to the shop.

I have a similar shifting issue with my 2007. Mine will sometimes "stick" in reverse, if it is under load (like on a hill), and will jump out of reverse and into forward, when the engine is starting. It would appear that the shift cables need adjusting. The "neutral" position is not halfway between forward and reverse, it is much closer to the forward position. So I would think that an adjustment to restore the proper balance would fix the problem.
