Smile Star golf cart

Well after many weeks of trying to sort out my issues with this 2006 Star golf cart...I finally made a connection with a tech guy that could at least help me confirm part of my issue. By the serial number this cart was suppose to be a 36v cart but when I bought it it had a 1268 Curtis 48v controller in with a 48v battery charger and a set of 36v batteries in the cart. A friend had the same year Fairplay and it was 48v....so my assumption was somebody put the wrong batteries in it...so here I sit with a mess and very little info available. It is a SepEx system but I don't know what to do from here...maybe I will strip it for parts...lol
