Default FairPlay 48v

I have a 2005 FairPlay 48v with a 1244 Curtis pds controller. When I put it in fwd it just clicks. The controller flashes 1 flash then 3 flashes. Where do I look? It doesn't move in either direction.

Have you looked in the trouble shooting chart?

Possibly the motor, cable shorted, or a bad connection are the first places to check. If those lead nowhere, rent a curtis 1313 handset, or call almost any cart company, forklift company, etc., and they will have a handset. Get them to do a service call and get an estimate for repairs, then make your own decision. I have rented a handset for a month for like 50 dollars with shipping in the past, before I purchased my own, so it is definitely not the most expensive option. The handset will give you a lot more details for troubleshooting, and they are very simple to use.

Did you fix this? If it isn't the cables to the fields, or the motor, it is the controller.
