Default Speed controller not working

1995 club car ds 48v cart

About a month ago I changed out my motor, speed controller, solenoid, forward reverse switch and all the wires to 2 gauge wires.

After hooking it all up it worked just fine and increased the speed and the torque just as it was supposed to do.

I drove it for 5 miles as it said to do to break it in. And I parked it about three weeks ago.

Today I came to my camper and the cart isn't working. The battery pack is reading 50v which is close to fully charged. The circuit is complete and when I press on the petal (in both Forward and reverse) the solenoid will click and nothing will happen. All the wires are hooked up as they should be but the speed controller is not getting power (light isn't on).

Has anyone ever heard of a brand new controller not working like this? Any thought of how I can fix this?

What kind of controller is it and where did you get it?

Is there a main fuse?

It is an alltrax controller. I believe it shipped from alltrax. There is a main fuse but it is not blown

The same positive wire that activates the Solenoid goes to the Controller KSI pin.

Make sure the wire between the solenoid small post positive side and the Controller is making good connection (measure voltage to be sure).

So There is constant power running to the controller. Is this supposed to happen, or should the solenoid open the circuit? Here is a pic of the solenoid and the controller.

The power light is not lit on the controller.

Why would the cart work and the. Not work now?

The positive connection is the one with the yellow zip strips.

The positive connection I am talking about is the red quick connector at the Controller (KSI).

Disconnect that red quick connector and make sure you get pack voltage on that wire when you press the accelerator and the Solenoid clicks.

The Controller B+ always has voltage, the voltage is a little less than pack voltage when the solenoid is open due to the pre-charge resistor.

The voltage on B+ is not what turns the LED on, you need voltage on the Controller KSI terminal.

Do you have a better picture showing the solenoid small posts and diode connection?
