Installing USB charger to 2004 ParCar
I am trying to install a USB charge to my Car, but I am unsure the best way to do so. Do any of you have a wiring recommendations? I have purchased a unit with a built in fuse but I don’t want to ruin anything else when I hook it up. Thanks for the input

48v cart would need a 48v to 12v reducer then just hook up the 12v pos ( fused wire) to reducer pos and neg to neg
i have one for a cig lighter/power supply then i can use it for other things |

Re: Installing USB charger to 2004 ParCar
I just installed a 12V outlet in my 2006 and tapped into the red wire that goes from the light switch to the turn signal relay (#3) and than to one of the negative wires to the lights. Quite simple really. Adding the power supply is a good idea to keep the 2 batteries supplying 12V accessory power is a good idea otherwise you will start having battery issues like I'm facing.
