well after i got rid of the flip/flop got to looking and saw the rear springs were way bent. today i installed the new h.d. springs. so far so good-then somehow knocked the stands out from under the axle. now i know a strong young guy or even two olders could have put back on the stands with no prob. took me way longer! there was beer involved.

Many years ago ....... in a land far far away MY first wife and I were on a road trip that landed me in a junkyard removing a master cylinder from a VW bus. Its wheels were removed and it sat on a couple of couple of stacked rims. Wife said that doesn't look very safe. I said it's okay. I continued to stuggle with the rust frozen bolts as she started stacking tires under the bus... Whatever I thought...... until on moment later the bus fell onto the tires she had stacked under it...... life #2 used up

i have done dumb things in the past, like changing a chevy starter in the dirt ,in the rain with only a floor jack. i still think about that one . at least carts aren't too heavy. jim

o.k. not as AS heavy. in this case the frt. end was on ramps and the rear on h.d. stands. the axle motor combo was on a separate set of stands. the cart never moved, just the axle. as i said not to heavy for strong person.

still all of your points are well taken. safety first. jim

ood to hear it LOL..... but yeah people tend to think 'it's only a golf cart'. But an electric will weight a 1000 pounds and there is no way that ain't gonna leave a mark

I put everything on jackstands and yeah, I'm still tossing tires under the carts when I get under them..
