Try pre loading your driven clutch. There is some info about it online. Your just going to disassemble your driven clutch and turn it some when re-installing the moving face. I did it to my 96 carryall with the smaller 290 motor and even with lift and 22" tires I have decent torque. It lets the motor rev up a little higher and make more power before the clutch engages. It made the difference of me sitting in sand unable to move to now I can go no prob.
