Default Hello, again. Newbie again.

I've found myself reading threads here the past few days after I found myself at an auction that had a 92 gas Club Car for sale and I bid and bought it. Years ago I had a Yamaha cart and got plenty of help from this site, and once again I've already found lots of help, so I figured I'd stop in and say thanks to everyone!

I'll attach a few pictures of the Club Car how I bought it and how it looks with just a few days. I'm waiting on a rear seat and headlight/tail lights. I've been researching here about how to align the front end and also hoping new belts and filters fixes the speed/climbing issue it has (slow).

And here's the Yamaha I had years ago that was originally right off the golf course and I did this to it, with help from this site!

Welcome back! If that's a FE290 in that cart, do the zip tie governor mod! By far the best bang for your buck and largest speed increase, helps a cart climb a hill better too, and it still allows your governor to keep the RPMs at a safe level.

It is, and I've read about the zip tie trick. I'll get to messing around with it again when it's not below freezing in the garage. I'm hoping a new belt helps a lot, I'm guessing since the belt that is on there isn't an inch wide (it's and tad more than 7/8") means it's been worn down and needs to be replaced?

I'll get it running great eventually, I think I bought it secretly hoping I'd have to work on it a bit, just for a project to get me thru the winter.

I know what you mean about a project, something to tinker with is always a nice getaway in the winter. Have you checked out the Heavy Duty drive belt Cart Parts Plus sells? The next belt on the gas DS my Grandpa runs around on is going to be one of those bad boys, also gonna have one for my 2 stroke EZGO when I finish putting it together.
