Default Carts that wander

Hi guys, been lurking for a couple of months since I had a elec EZGO txt that had been struck by lighting while plugged in and needed wire routing (not mine).
Anyway, I've read on here a couple of posts about carts that wander while being driven. I got a lifted EZGO with a blown 295 that I have since repaired and it would weave whenever I hit a bump. I started looking at the front end and noticed that with the lift that was installed (don't know the brand), the tie rods had a down hill angle outboard towards the spindles. I raced cars for a few years and knew that when the tie rods would travel with the spindles it would induce movement at the wheels. Anyhow the short version is I heated the spindles and leveled the tie rods at rest and that cured the wandering. I hope this may help one or two of you because I type with two fingers and it took me 3 days of continious typing to do it.
The more expensive lift kits shouldn't have a problem with this, just the cheaper or older lift kits, like mine

Mine had a bad bump steering problem and it was suggested to build a drag link. That worked good and now I need to fix the steering box!! Too much play...
Typing SUCKS. I peck faster than I used to.
