dirty carb?
bad crank seals? bad fuel pump? out of gas? have you tried anything to it? disclosing as much information as possible is to your benefit. |

Re: 86 gas 2 cycle marathon
I Changed The Carb TO A NEW ONE , The Gas Seemed Fine, The Pump Is Pumping I'm Getting Gas To The Carb, But Not Through The Carb Into The Intake. The Engine Just Turns Over But Doesn't Start.

Re: 86 gas 2 cycle marathon
crank seals, loose cylinder, possible clogged muffler, poor compression.
2 strokes need to have the crank case sealed cause the piston movement is what draws the fuel mix into the engine and pushes it up into the combustion chamber. if there is a leak where the engine cant create a vacuum or pressure then none of the fuel mix will be drawn into the engine. If the muffler is clogged it also stops it from cycling fuel through the engine. If your rings won't seal this also will affect the fuel mix cycle. |

Re: 86 gas 2 cycle marathon
Have you checked the float, needle and seat? How do you know you are getting fuel to the carb? Is the bowl full?

Re: 86 gas 2 cycle marathon
I'm with ruredy here, do a compression test. You should get over 100PSI. New I think is 130PSI. Below that and it will struggle to create a vacuum.
