You are all over the place with no direction or starting point and half checking and assuming things. you can't properly troubleshoot an electrical issue without a meter because a meter will tell you the direction to go.
Take a chill for the night and get a meter.
While you're waiting, download the wiring schematic and trace the wires, find out what is where andlearn the sequence of events that make the system work.
It will help when you start on it.
Hey Crash, thanks for the help. It was the solinoid. Picked one up yesterday at the auto parts store and works fine.

Glad to here you got it worked out.
If you picked up an automotive solenoid, like the old ford style it will not last.
Needs to be a continous duty solenoid and the ford style are for intermittent use only. The coil inside will burn up in it.
