Default Low end power

I've been lurking this forum for about 2 weeks now, you guys sure know your stuff. I recently retired my old G2 and got an 09 Drive, I'm waiting on the Jake's long travel kit and various other odds and ends to arive still. My question is how much of a power gain do you get with the Jake's header and filter kit. Is it worth the money or are there alternative options for gaining more low end power to turn the 23" tires with 4 passengers up the hills around here. I've also seen a high speed spring to replace in the gov, and was wondering if that was a worth while mod. Thanks in advance!

Welcome! Nothing against Jakes, but I was not impressed with the header/K & N style filter and rejet. I had to modify the intake to not hit the gas tank on a G22 and G29 "The Drive" has even less fuel tank clearance. Also it sounded like a loud lawnmower muffler to me. I've got one for sale (fabbed adapter included) if interested. Both Jakes and Plowmans make "torque springs" for the secondary clutch and as I've posted before, CPP's speed spring is an excellant choice. Good luck on your new toy
