Default G-16 Brakes

Is there an instruction, or a Video on changing the Brakes on the
G-16 Yamaha, I realize everyone keeps pointing to the diagram on the
TNT site and that is great for knowing how the parts go and described, but for someone who has not done any brakes before a little more instruction would be great..

Any futher info is appreciated!

You wouldn't want a video of me or my torn up hands showing you how to do it.....that could scare children First, get acsess to the brake equlizer at the brake pedal, lossen the jam nut and back off the accentric nut to loosen the brake cables. On Dana transaxles (G16), remove the wheel, remove the dust cover, remove the cotter pin, remove the axle nut and hub. Now you will have room to remove the springs and shoe spring retainers. Remenber to take the self adjusting wheels and return the bolts to a seated position. Install new linings and springs, then the hub and nut (use an impact on the nut) slip on the brake drum. you can remove the drum, adjust the self adjuster so there is a slight drag. Now go back and adjust the brake equalizer to get the pedal latching feel you like. I like it locked on the second catch. Good luck
