Default Does Yamaha Gas G16 have neutral mode?

Hi:

I have a 2000 Yamaha gas G16 and am curious if it has a neutral or maintenance, or tow mode. I used to have a 1984 gas Club Car which could be put in "neutral" by placing the shifter in center position and the transaxle would not engage. Does the G16 have something similar?

Thanks

Half way between forward and reverse should be neutral. To be safe, test this with the rear jacked up and secured.

My 01 G-20 does, cart not running put the lever in the middle you should be able to roll the cart pretty easy. Then put in forward or reverse and try it.

Thanks for the replies. Putting shifter in center did it.

Hi guys, it doesn't appear the there is fuel in the oil. The battery was going flat and I have charged it and when I attempt to drive it it starts to bunny hop because the back wheels keep locking up. This has done it in the past and then I have got it to go again but not sure why. I have put it in neutral and can push it around. I don't think it is a fuel problem and I can't see anything wrong with the belts. Thanks
