It was nice enough today I decided to go over the cart again, first thing I dis was unhooked the ground from battery to frame, then took the outer cover off the clutch but couldn't see to good and my back was killing me so I took the bolt off and just took the clutch off, outer part, everything looked pretty good except one of the 3 movements, it was ok just real stiff and hard to move so I sprayed with WD40 and loosened up and moved free, so re mounted it and tryed to start again, got it to run but rough, remember about the airbox being mentioned and it is long gone by previous owner, he had pulled after market air cleaner on but outer end was missing so just out of curiosity I put a rage around it and taped it on, ran alot better well at higher rpm's, at idle it bucks and backfires so again just not sure,
I even checked fuel pump and when I took fuel line off going to carb and turned it over it was pumping fuel good,
Well this is where Im at now, maybe some more ides from here, , I know I need to get an airbox and hoses , and the shroud for cylinder but Im just gonna have to wait a bit very low on funds, just hopefully I can find them right before camping come spring, I figure if I start looking come Feb. I should be ok for April,

G1-G9 just did a clone. maybe he has a filter box and hose for sale! No filter on the carb. is an issue with all golf carts. Primary clutch has to move back and forth on the shaft freely. And needs 1 pump of grease in the zirk. Also 1 pump in the secondary zirk as well.

Read all threads on here about clutch and filter box maintenance.

If your not going to run the stock filter, then any filter you put on, you will have to match the main jet for proper air/fuel mixture.

I know it will take some time but I know it will get going, I like ev erything about it now and its not running up to par yet,
Just like the ez go I have, I had to figure out the wiring that was messed up then a top end rebuild, and now it runs great, just don't care for the 2 stroke though, but it will be good for camp.

If there is a ground batt to frame it is for lights or other accessory, factory cart will not have one. The engine is not on the frame anyway its on the swingarm. If you don't supply a ground for lights/etc you put on it will often blow the 10A fuse. Everything factory will have its own ground wire there may be a ground fuse even. Wiring problems are very common on these, good part is they are cheap to fix.

That could be,, there was headlights & taillights but he or someone removed them left me with holes front and back, I dident work on it today and not sure if I will for a while, frustration has gotten the better of me so the best thing is to just sit back and think for a while,,,, plus I want to get the airbox hose and filter before I try again, I was told of a couple people here that may have one but with Christmas about here I wont be looking till beginning of the yr, ..

That's what I did.

Take off the clutch cover, look at the weights on the primary clutch. All 3 need to be be there, not broken, and not loose. That can make a car run like bad timing.
