I was off to Spokane -- bought an '09 Prius Touring. Nice car --- they won't win any styling contests, but I like the way it drives, rides and saves gas.

It's red ... kind of a darker red. Wife wanted one with GPS, traction control, HID headlights, bluetooth cell, ... those kinds of things. The only one I found for sale matching those requirements was "top of the line" model -- so, yes, she's happy. I brought it home and parked it and when she got home last night about 9:00 I had to take her out for a lesson on how to drive it! I showed her what the buttons did, what the "touch screen" did, how to adjust the seat and wheel, etc and then told her to get it set up for herself and ignore everything except the speedometer... everything else is just a distraction right now. LOTS of bells, whistles and gadgets. So many things to potentially break.
It was nice seeing the fuel consumption gauge show "99.9 mpg" and "84.6 mpg"! but sometimes it showed "8.3 mpg" and "14.4mpg"! I'm looking forward to figuring out the "long term" mileage.

I wonder what are the benefits of wiping down your cart with pledge. Does it stay soooo clean that all you have to do is dust it
