Default Looking for a part, can someone verify this is it??

I am looking for the rubber piece that goes around the the steering column at the body. (where column goes through the "firewall")

Look at part number 47 on this diagram, is this the part I am looking for?? If not, can someone point me in the right direction?

If I understand you correctly you are talking about the rubber sleeve that acts like a boot to keep air and dirt and other stuff from blowing up the steering column? If so that isn't the part you want... if not hope you found what You were looking for!

The pic does not look right. A lot of those carts had a hole there for a low oil light, and a plug in it. It looks like that. But that is where it should be in the diagram. You may have to look for it used. They do show a grommet for a G1, but nothing for G2/9

I probably have a good used one, I'll check tommorrow and let you know. I hate when the owner gets in his "cleaning mode", he's taken so many useable parts to the dump.
