Default Belts on a 97 gas club car

over memorial day, my wife was running through talll grass with the cart,
when she went to pull into the barn, and then back up- no go- it looks like a belt had come off.
now brother in law wants to buy a new belt ( i thought the world was coming to an end, they were going to buy [parts?)

I have the club car part numbers

however can I go into an oreiley's or napa and buy these belts? what is the best way? buy club car or ?

any other belts work and any other numbers would help

thanks

I went to o'reillys and got a starter belt. Worked fine for about a year. Then it started slipping causing me to think I had starter problems. New belt from Everything Carts did the trick. Bottom line buy belts made for golf carts. They have a different taper than the one from the auto parts store.

I may be wrong but you only have 2 belts. One is the S/G belt and one is your drive belt. Your S/G belt is only for starting and generating. Your drive belt controls forward and reverse. If it goes foward but not reverse make sure that the cable is doing its job and it's changing the rear-end
