New to the golf cart scene. Tips for my rig?
Just picked up my first golf cart the other day. Never owned one before and wondering if I should change anything. It's a 2003 Club Car DS. It's lifted and sitting on Swamp Fox tires. As you can see it has a basket on front which is very heavy duty. My goal is the longevity of my cart. What should I change on it to make sure it lasts as long as possible? Seems like with the tires it was meant for off-road but it's not a Polaris Ranger so I'm worried that my little Club Car won't hold up to that torture. Advice?

It will hold up - I suggest a bath for it first!

Welcome to the post! I too have a 2003 Club Car DS . The first thing I would do is change all the fluids and filters, grease the fittings. Lots of good people on this site that give good advice.

Yeah, just don't try and jump them. :-) I baby mine quite a bit and wash it and wax it and tinker with it all the time. I like doing it and I am the type of guy that will replace something, not so much because it is bad, but that it might start going out due to age or I have something apart anyway, so why not if it is original.

Welcome!!!Keep this in mind...A golf cart was designed to be driven by hundreds of different people,in all kinds of conditions. They are nearly un-breakable in a sense.Off-Road,they can really impress you and others on side-by-sides and quads alike, especially after some mods. And whats wrong with Jumps???Been There,Done it,still do it!!
