Oil type G16
Just put in new piston and rings in a G16 what oil weight should I run (30w?) or a synthetic and what size starter batt.? Thanks

Run a name brand 30w (Valvoline Castrol etc ) for the first few oil changes to break in the rings, then go to a synthetic if you want to. I believe in a Castrol 10-30 non-synthetic and just make more frequent oil changes, Any 12v batt is fine for the start/ gen, my philosophy the bigger the better. lots of room for it on the G8.
