![]() I have a 95 model that I am having trouble getting it to turn over. I took the starter of and checked the brushes and they seemed fine. I then hooked power to it to check and see if it would spin and it was ok. It seemmed to run fine so I put it back on and tried it out and could not get the motor to turn over. I also put a meter on the lead coming from the selinoid and got 12volts. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

![]() I had a starter that would not work all the time on the cart. The problem turned out to be some bad segments on the armature. If it stopped on the bad area it would not work.
Try turning the starter belt a little & see if it works. Easy test |

![]() Have you tried jumping it off? does that work? Are all your connections clean and in good working order? does it do anything when you try to start it?
I have more problems with corroded connection than anything else on these carts. (even If you can read 12v in them) |

![]() You need to have your battery "load" tested. You could read 12 volts on a meter but have no stored cranking "amps".
Bet you have a bad battery. If battery is good then check cable connections. |

![]() Does this model cart have a solenoid? If so, try jumping across it. If that doesn't work, I'd say starter/generator bad.
