![]() Hey every one. An lady at church is having trouble with her EZ Go and I'm
trying to get her going. It is an electric model with the shifter below the seat. It will go in reverse just fine but will not go forward at all. Batteries are fully charged. It can be pushed so I know the brakes are not hung. When I put the shifter in forward and push the peddle I can hear the solenoid click with the same sound as when in reverse. I've checked for loose wires and such but I'm not really sure exactly what to look for. I'll do my best to get the numbers on it as soon as possible if that will be a help. I appreciate any help y'all can offer. |

![]() Check the contacts on the Forward/Reverse switch. You can take it apart pretty easily and file or sand the contacts and put it back together and should be good to go. I always file mine so I know they are flat. Try wiggleing the F/R switch back and forth while pressing down on the pedal. It might jerk when it makes a connection but it will let you know if thats the problem.
