Engine swap
I’m doing a engine swap on a 1990 club car ds, to a predator 420 my question since the predator has a starter built in with motor, do Bypass the predator starter and use the original generator starter, or do I use the predator starter instead and not even use the original starter generator? Anyone please help.

Re: Engine swap
If you dont plan to run lights and stuff, easier to just gut everything and use the predator starter.
The generator in the predator is not strong enough to keep up with lighting and stuff, so the battery will die faster than it can charge it. |

Re: Engine swap
The best way all around is to use the S/G. Plenty of starting power and plenty of power for lights and such and the only extra wiring is a kill wire to stop the engine.
