Default 1996 EZGO TXT Front spindles repair

My 1996 EZGO "bangs" in the front end, I have narrowed it down to the "king Pins/spindles"
I have removed the cotter pin on the bottom and tighten the castle nut, to the next available spot to insert the cotter pin again, this has helped just marginally if at all. Its been well greased, its just worn out.
I have found these tubes.

Has any one removed the old pin tubes and inserted new ones?Do the pin tubes need to be pressed out and new ones pressed in, or is it better to buy the entire spindle

if you buy the pin tubes as you called them......YES they need to be pressed out and the new ones pressed in. if you don't have a press.....take them to your local auto machine shop they can do that, its easy and fast....shouldn't cost much either.

I'm pretty sure they will just slide out when the bolt is removed and the spindle is taken out of the axle end.
Usually the issue is the bolt becomes loose and wears the bolt and top hole of the axle flange but you noted that you tightened it.
The diagram doesn't show them but be sure to order the bronze thrust washers as well if it has them.

Crash thanks for your advice, yes, when the bolt is taken out the bushing/sleeve comes out with a light tap. Your advice on the thrust washers is a great one. It does have the washers I think that new washers will go along way to correct my problem. Thanks again
