Suggestions on lithium vs lead acid for hills
Need some advice/suggestions please regarding which new cart to purchase.
Our community has a couple of stepper hills on both ends which we traverse often. Over the years I've owned several carts (gas and electric) and the 48 volt RXV was the only one that handled these hills without a huge noticeable speed drop. Here is the only requirement, I want 4 front-facing seats on my new cart so this narrows me down to the Express L6 72 volt or the new Liberty which is 56v lithium. I do not care about going 30-35 mph (can always have Bob program it :)) rather concerned with the ability to not crawl up these hills and have decent total range before recharge. I know the Express L6 is of course a 6 seater, don't need the rear-facing seat really, rather interested in seating 4 front-facing. In your opinion what is my best option here? |

Express L6 for sure. 72V model has current limit of 350A.
There is a lithium model too, current limit is lower, 300A but maintenance free batteries are nice. The liberty has a 235A limit. Quite possible you wouldn't be able to go full speed up step hills. |
