Default Switching from 6 to 4 gauge

hi,
i have read that many recommend bigger cables for the batteries.
What would be the benefits of switching from 6 ga to 4 ga.
And if so, do i have to change all cables ( to solenoid, controller, motor) or is changing the batterie cables enough?

Controller: FSIP Nr. 51-FX302G027
Motor: D&D Motorsystem Nr. 170-505-0001

many thanks

If you are going to the trouble of switching cables, I recommend going to 2 ga. Do all of the high current wires.
