What makes 48V so superior exactly? Are they usually stronger and longer range and other benefits? Won’t be an option for me unfortunately. I basically found this really cheap Melex 252 36V without batteries that I intended to fix and buy batteries for (mechanically it was fine). But then I found another one, a newer one in overall better condition but with a slight noise from the rear axle. But it also came with okay batteries.. So I bought that too, wasn’t too expensive. So now I’ve got all working spare parts from another cart for my newer one. I don’t play golf or anything, it’s more of a utility vehicle if that’s the right word. I wanted one like this for some work around the house etc, and it’s perfect with the manual dump bed, steel cabin with doors and diesel heater. It’s also registered and road legal which is nice. So I don’t really feel like selling everything and start looking for deals again on auctions etc, otherwise these usually go for 2 or 3 time what I paid with good batteries. So it can be hard to find a good deal. |
