Re: Need help with identification
the model number would lean towards a 1988, does it have the plastic cowl (on a metal front end) as well as a vertical muffler on the drivers side and a 2pg engine with the crankshaft running front to rear? (I ask just to be safe with the diagnosis) ...
Plus, does it look like the cart in my Avatar? |

Re: Need help with identification
Not that I doubt you but........
do you really need a starter, those things are bullet proof. The most common issues are worn brushes and damaged internal connections when someone has not steadied the post when removing a cable. Both of those problems are easy to fix. In addition a new starter is hellish expensive, maybe a trip to a motor repair shop would be more cost effective. I appreciate that it is your call and my $0.02 Dave |

Brewcitymusic: it does look like your avatar
and Dave Box: when i recieved the cart the starter was in pieces and the owner said to replace it due to him trying to fix it and losing pieces. |

Ok, I figured it out I think. It was built Jan 14 1988. Starter is ordered! On top of that the guy gave me another 88 model he had in a shed! Guess I have another little project for me!!
